Regional Sales Manager

What will you do in this role? As a Regional Sales Manager for Oakwood Homes in our Denver Communities.

This position is directly responsible for managing all aspects of the division regional sales team and executing company sales and closing business plans.

  • Manages day to day sales activities in the sales field.
  • Coaches' sales consultants on company success drivers on a weekly basis
  • Responsible for leadership development of all sales counselors
  • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training and motivating sales counselors.
  • Required to schedule weekly community visits to coach their team.
  • Appraises sales performance based on company and individual sales goals.
  • Assists the Director of Sales in facilitating week sales meetings. Meeting to include sales training, new community rollout information, and company process and procedure updates.
  • Assist with resolving buyer concerns.
  • Assist the Oakwood marketing team to create and implement brand awareness plan and community marketing needs. Participate in Community Networking/Realtor Relations
  • Responsible for Market Awareness. Provide information and help facilitate monthly price meetings, stays current on all sales reports, lot/spec inventory, incentives, selling price points, new competition, and overall market knowledge in each community we build.
  • Participate and ensure effectiveness of mortgage lender meetings to ensure we meet or exceed target business plans.

You Have:

  • Proven track record in sales (new home sales experience preferred) and executing sales business plan.
  • Proven track record in training and development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High energy, self-started, sense of urgency, motivational
  • Excellent team building skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual in person attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly

  • Expected Salary: $85,000-$95,000 Annual Salary - This position is eligible for additional performance incentive bonus opportunity.
