Atwell is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Safety Manager to oversee safety practices of our field crews across various project sites. This remote position involves significant travel, primarily within Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and Colorado. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of industry and construction safety practices, particularly in the Land and Development, and Power and Energy operations. Preference will be given to candidates located in Michigan or Illinois.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise safety protocols on-site and in the field.
  • Conduct and document safety observations on personnel, equipment, and materials at job sites.
  • Ensure compliance with established safety rules and regulations.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety work plans for long-term projects.
  • Prepare and conduct safety training sessions for employees.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA).
  • Lead investigations and evaluations of injuries and incidents.
  • Travel extensively to visit projects and remote work locations.
  • Coordinate with local management teams.
  • Report weekly safety activities to the Associate Director of Safety.
  • Complete necessary field documentation (e.g., Safety observations and JHA’s).
  • Promote and train employees on the use of AtwellSafe.com app.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director of Safety on policy reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant safety experience.
  • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience handling confidential information.
  • Extensive driving and working from remote locations, including trucks and job trailers.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Pay Range
$80,000$100,000 USD
