ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Reliability Manager for the West Region to work remotely with extensive travel throughout the region. The ideal candidate will reside in states such as Arizona, Texas, Utah, or Colorado. In this role, you will provide technical support by troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions to maintain and improve the integrity of facilities, equipment, processes, and preventive maintenance programs. You will lead design changes for new and existing equipment as part of continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate closely with the Maintenance Manager to achieve departmental goals. This position often involves leading small project teams and providing formal training to junior maintenance staff. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 4–8 years of relevant experience in reliability or maintenance.

Local Presence Matters: Although this is a remote opportunity, the selected candidate must reside in one of the following states. This ensures you can effectively manage accounts and travel within the following assigned territories: Arizona, Texas, Utah, and Colorado.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs complex analytical work on machine performance and identified problems, often resolving problems where precedent may not exist.
  • Performs fabrication, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance tasks to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Provides technical assistance to maintenance and production teams.
  • Maintains, expands, and improves the preventive maintenance program.
  • Implements design changes to materials, equipment, and processes to enhance operation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensures that all repairs and operations are in compliance with regulatory and governing agencies while maintaining the highest regard for colleague safety.
  • Procures specialized or unique repair parts, materials, and services.
  • Inspects facility for possible defects and implements cost-effective solutions.
  • Coaches and reviews the work of junior maintenance colleagues.
  • Incorporates and ensures safety observances are met, including use of all PPE by colleagues, ensuring guards and safety features are working, and promoting good daily safety practices and habits, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Education and Experience 

  • Typically possesses a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 4-8 years of relevant experience. 

Knowledge and Skills 

  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of maintenance concepts and practices.
  • Possesses a technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical/electronic, instrumentation, and computer systems and ability to coach others
  • Possesses an in-depth understanding of and experience with common maintenance tools.
  • Demonstrates ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possesses strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively while coaching others as part of a team.
  • Works effectively under limited supervision and independently.

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $92,500.00 - $157,500.00. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $110,000.00 to $125,000.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
