What will you do?

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Hotel Regional Projects Deputy Senior Director (Architect/Engineer) to oversee and manage a portfolio of hotel construction and renovation projects across a designated region. This role involves leading project teams, ensuring adherence to design standards, budget, and schedule, and acting as a key technical liaison within the Company

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of hotel construction, renovation, and maintenance projects within the assigned region, from conceptualization to completion.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope definition, budget allocation, resource management, and timeline development.
  • Supervise and mentor project managers, architects, engineers, and other project team members.
  • Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, regulations, company standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to specifications.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors, vendors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
  • Review and approve architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance, purchasing) to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and best practices within the company.


 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's degree and/or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management within the hospitality construction or real estate development sector, with a strong focus on hotel projects.
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership or deputy director role managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methodologies, building systems, and relevant regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets, negotiate contracts, and control project costs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and CAD software.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region.
