Regional marketplace manager EMEA (amazon)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Amazon PAN EU and potential other regional marketplaces in alignment with the regional eCommerce and specific customer strategy
  • Achieve agreed growth and profit targets by implementing the strategy aligned with business objectives (assortment, pricing, activation, investment and promotions).
  • Ensure a seamless operational and logistics management, in close collaboration with the different functions
  • Full KPI monitoring, reporting and continuous optimization with support of external sources and first-party data (e.g., Seller Central analytics, Stackline, Helium10)
  • Build strong customer partnership and internal collaboration with regional and local teams to optimize traffic, visibility, conversion and efficiency
  • Close collaboration with local organizations and consideration of local market needs and trends
  • Ensure a seamless and target group-oriented communication towards all stakeholders
  • Implement investment strategy to maximize sales and profitability
  • Market intelligence: track competitors activities and marketplaces trends to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision making

 

Qualifications:

  • University degree or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of experience in European eCom marketplace management, preferably within FMCG or Non-Food sectors
  • Solid experience in eCommerce, ideally managing Amazon Seller Central (PAN-EU) or other major marketplaces.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, monitor KPIs, and turn insights into concrete actions
  • Proven track record in driving growth, improving visibility, and optimizing conversion and profitability on digital channels.
  • Good understanding of marketplace operations, including logistics, assortment, pricing, activation, and promotional planning.
  • Technical understanding of marketplace and interface solutions, ideally with experience using aggregators like ChannelEngine or similar tools, amazon Vendor Central, Helium 10)
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with high proficiency in KPI and P&L management.
  • Well-developed communication & interpersonal skills with ability to build long-term relationship to customers and internal teams
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages are an advantage.
