DESCRIPTION:
As a Regional Marketing Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll implement strategic marketing initiatives to build growth and market position. Working in a cross-functional organization, you'll develop and execute comprehensive regional marketing plans aligned with global strategies. You'll collaborate across product management, sales, digital marketing, and operations teams to create impactful campaigns that generate qualified leads and drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Market Development
- Develop and execute regional marketing development plans aligned with global business objectives
- Identify growth opportunities across key segments (academia, biopharma, translational research)
- Marketing Strategy Planning and Execution: developing and implementing effective Go-to-Market strategies for new product portfolio and enhancing on-market products by penetrating various market segments, expanding the reach of our technologies.
- Competitive Landscape analysis: optimizing product positioning based on field feedback and market dynamics, differentiating PSX technologies and solutions to better fit customer needs and market dynamics
Demand Generation & Campaign Execution
- Design and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, events, webinars, KOL engagement)
- Partner with digital marketing team to optimize lead generation, nurturing, and conversion
- Track campaign performance and continuously improve ROI using data-driven insights
- Lead the development of omni-marketing : developing and implementing the digital marketing strategies for campaigns to engage and expand the sales addressable market; Planning and execution the marketing communications and promotional activities including online and offline advertising, publications, webinars and collateral, product bundles, cross promotions, and trade-ins, both directly and through sales channels. Managing ROI-focused content and marketing campaigns.
Scientific & Product Positioning
- Translate complex proteomics technologies into clear, compelling value propositions
- Collaborate with product management and scientific affairs to align messaging with product roadmap
- Support development of technical content (white papers, case studies, application notes)
Sales Enablement & Commercial Support
- Work closely with sales teams to drive pipeline growth and customer acquisition
- Develop sales tools, training materials, and customer-facing presentations
- Support key account strategies and major opportunity pursuits
Customer & KOL Engagement
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders and strategic customers
- Represent Olink at scientific conferences, trade shows, and industry events
- Marketing development on different therapeutic area, cardio, neuro, oncology and immunology, develop relationships with KOLs on different disease segment and market segment and build up international relationships for China KOL on certain projects and cohort studies.
- Gather voice-of-customer insights to inform product and marketing strategies
- Primary region point of contact for utilization proteomics on different disease management and solution. Facilitating inbound and outbound communication, and ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders and global segment marketing
- Deliver effective training and sales enablement tools to help our BDM be more efficient and effective
Education & Experience
- PhD, MSc, or Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Proteomics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field)
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or business development within life sciences or biotech
- Experience in proteomics, genomics, or related omics technologies strongly preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of biomarker research, translational science, or drug development workflows
- Proven ability to design and execute successful marketing campaigns
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate scientific concepts into marketing messages
- Analytical mindset with experience using CRM and marketing automation tools
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a global, matrixed organization
Preferred
- Experience working with KOLs and scientific communities
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools
- International or regional market experience
