We are seeking an experienced Regional Life Sales Manager to deliver product marketing, training, and sales support to our distribution agencies.

Expected annual salary range: $65,000 – $90,000 CAD

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver product marketing of Individual Life Insurance to distribution agency
  • Provide distribution agency with sales and training support in life insurance
  • Execute progressive insurance training programs in development of new life licensed agents
  • Grow life insurance sales with established participation and productivity goals
  • Liaison with sales agency and sales administration departments regarding life insurance products and programs
  • Integrate understanding of agent activity to support sales efforts with information, marketing and sales solutions
  • Communicate with senior field leaders and their teams to establish a culture of life insurance prospecting and sales
  • Create and deliver effective sales presentations to promote products, services and competitive advantages
  • Coordinate product/process changes and enhancements via formal presentations, webinars, conference calls and print materials
  • Assist in development, testing and launch of new products and features
  • Monitor product trends and goals and evaluate process efficiencies
  • Coordinate product meeting events, marketing materials and recognition programs
  • Support agent licensing programs and incentives to grow sales agency size
  • Proactive communication with RVP’s and assist their reps with Life Insurance Business Development
  • Assist National Sales Manager in all aspects of life insurance marketing
  • Varied life insurance marketing efforts as required

Qualifications:

  • Extensive Individual Life Insurance industry knowledge and experience
  • Current life insurance license or willing to obtain within six months of hire
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or equivalent business experience
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent public speaking, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Competence in developing and delivering communications/presentations/training programs
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Self–starter and highly motivated team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel as needed to field events
  • French language is an asset
