Regional Injury Management Advisor

Redcliffe Western Australia Full time

The Role:
As the Regional Injury Management Advisor, you will lead injury management strategies across WA, SA, and NT. You will work closely with senior leaders and operational teams to deliver early intervention and rehabilitation initiatives that enhance employee outcomes while supporting business goals.

Your expertise will guide complex cases, ensuring safe, durable return-to-work plans that align with company policies, workers’ compensation requirements, and self-insurance license conditions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the implementation of the Injury Management Strategic Plan across the region.

  • Provide expert advice and case management strategies for complex and high-risk claims.

  • Conduct workplace rehabilitation assessments, including modifications and job redesign.

  • Coordinate case conferences with injured employees, doctors, and key stakeholders.

  • Deliver training and workshops that promote early intervention and proactive rehabilitation.

  • Review medical results, pre-employment and fitness-for-duty assessments, and advise on treatment plans.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and service agreements with external providers.

  • Develop and maintain a Group Job Dictionary with functional task analyses of roles.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in injury management, rehabilitation, or workers’ compensation.

  • Strong understanding of workplace rehabilitation, injury prevention, and return-to-work strategies.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and influence senior leaders.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
