Regional Experience and Engagement Manager

This role is focused on supporting our Galway Site in aligning our teams based in Galway to our Corporate vision and strategy and in driving employee experience and engagement across the site. The focus of this role will be on building a strong culture of inclusion and belonging by enhancing and strengthening the experience of employees in Galway and support Genesys Ireland to become an employer of choice by developing and executing external and internal employer branding strategies. In addition, we are looking for an individual who can assist with building stronger employee engagement at other Genesys sites in EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Snr. Director Employee Experience, and being part of the Global Workplace Engagement team, the Regional Experience and Engagement Manager will be focused on supporting our Galway site in operationalizing strategy and East EMEA support. This role is tasked with supporting the Ireland Site in local daily operations of the office while creating, managing, and delivering local programs and activities for our workforce that are aligned with company strategy, corporate initiatives, and goals. We are looking for an action-oriented individual who can execute and co-ordinate the various activities, events, and initiatives for the site, at the direction of the Site Leaders, that will improve the employee experience for all, leading to greater employee engagement.

Further, as part of our Global Site Engagement team, this role will be tasked with helping to build employee engagement across other Genesys sites in EMEA.

 

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

In this role, the primary responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze employee experience data in conjunction with Experience team, HRBPs and leaders.  Create plans and documentation to address.

  • Provide analysis on the results from employee surveys in conjunction with Experience team, HRBPs and leaders.  Partner with these teams to drive improvement plans and execute.

  • Support and assist Site Leaders, including preparing regular reporting on site-related metrics 

  • Partner with Facilities, and Site Leaders to coordinate the day-to-day operations of the site and regional events

  • Build an events and communication plan for site and region. 

    • Provide logistical and operational support to the Site Leaders in regular communications with employees 

  • Bring together Site Leads vision and budget to organize, promote and drive employee engagement through site events and activities, team building, office celebration, Inclusion efforts, Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR – Impact Together), employer branding initiatives, and social events. 

  • Oversee and execute upon site sponsored activities.

  • Oversee site and regional budgets.

  • Plan and facilitate programs that facilitate open feedback and communication between employees and the Site Leaders to drive continuous improvement

  • Promote culture, improve employer brand and ensure adherence to operating policies.

  • Partner with local HR, Talent & Learning and Facilities teams in their efforts around recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention efforts, hiring events. 

  • Build and execute a plan for strong engagement and connections of employees who are either at other sites or working virtually in EMEA

    • Partner with EMEA HR leaders and other teams to drive engagement activities at other sites and with Virtual employees throughout EMEA

  • Establish a network of volunteers/influencers/brand ambassadors in other sites to help drive employee experience and engagement

  • Work with global branding and external affairs teams on the local employer branding plan.

  • Create the annual meetup, conference calendar, localize Genesys brand content, support local online and offline brand awareness campaigns

  • Position the Galway site within the community by communicating local success stories and global leader's visits

  • Partner with Impact Together to build local relations around giving to the community

  • Partner with local facilities to ensure Employee Health and Safety and Crisis Management Communications

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in HR, Communications or Events Management preferred

  • Must be “hands-on” in bringing execution and process discipline and a focus on achieving tangible goals that are consistent with the winning high-performance culture of Genesys. 

  • Understanding of employee experience and engagement, employer brand, and the drivers of this

  • Highly collaborative and can partner effectively with functional leaders at the site, as well as working and organizing teams in planning and executing activities 

  • Familiar with budgets

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong presentation, analytical and project management experience

  • Must be a strategic thinker with a proactive approach

  • Ability to work and deliver within tight deadlines

  • Displays initiative in the carrying out their duties, constantly looking for ways to improve processes to promote efficiency or strengthen control

  • Ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

  • A mature approach to work and ability to work autonomously

  • Ability to identify areas of concern and raise to an appropriate level of management

  • A strong positive and ethical approach to work and how work gets done
