Summary:

OneDigital is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Events & Marketing Intern to join the South regional team. This in-person role is ideal for an emerging marketing professional eager to gain hands-on experience in event coordination, marketing technology, and cross-functional project support.

Reporting directly to the Regional Event Specialist, the intern will play a key role in supporting the operational execution of regional client and prospect events, while also contributing to broader marketing initiatives as needed. If you enjoy organizing information, keeping projects moving, and supporting meaningful experiences for clients, this internship is a strong fit.

This 18‑week, paid internship offers real-world exposure to event operations, marketing systems, and collaboration across a growing organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):

The Events & Marketing Intern will support both event execution and general marketing projects, including:

Event & Registration Operations

  • Manage event registrations, track attendance, and ensure data accuracy
  • Support CRM and marketing system cleanup, including D365 → HubSpot syncing
  • Maintain and update event lists, forms, landing pages, and confirmation flows
  • Assist with event timelines, run-of-show documents, and preparation of presenter or facilitator materials
  • Support post-event follow-up, including attendance reconciliation, surveys, and communications

Event Logistics & Execution

  • Assist with planning and logistics for inperson and virtual events
  • Provide onsite support for Atlanta-area events (registration, materials, wayfinding, guest support)
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Support third‑party vendor onboarding by collecting required documentation and managing submissions through OneDigital’s onboarding system (OnSpring) to ensure contract compliance and payment readiness

Sponsor & Partner Communication

  • Use established templates to communicate sponsor deliverables, deadlines, and expectations
  • Help track receipt of logos, assets, and required materials

Digital & Marketing Technology Support

  • Assist with Optimizely website updates related to events (training provided)
  • Support email creation, marketing automation steps, and general campaign execution
  • Maintain records, folders, and digital assets for event and marketing projects

General Marketing Support

As needed, support additional marketing projects such as:

  • Content gathering and research
  • Simple design tasks using templates (Canva or similar)
  • Social media or digital support
  • Internal coordination for regional marketing initiatives

  • Work directly with the Regional Event Specialist, gaining hands-on experience with event production
  • Exposure to marketing systems and tools including HubSpot, D365, Optimizely, and more

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort working with technology platforms and learning new systems
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Positive attitude and a proactive, dependable work style
  • Ability to support onsite events in the Atlanta area (required)
  • Ability to travel locally for events, as needed

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with CRM or marketing automation tools is a plus (not required)
  • Available to work 15–20 hours per week, in person, at the Atlanta office

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
