Regional Environment, Health, Safety & Security Manager

Position Description:

The Regional EHS Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation and sustainment of ATD's EHS Programs within an assigned region of distribution centers and delivery operations. The Regional EHS Manager will partner with operations leaders to continuously seek improvement in performance, innovation in problem solving, and achievement of best-in-class EHS results.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data to determine trends and appropriate actions to improve regional EHS performance.
  • Assist distribution centers with incident investigations and identifying effective corrective measures.
  • Conduct facility audits/inspections to ensure alignment with ATD EHS Programs and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of company EHS programs within the assigned regional distribution centers and transportation delivery operations.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate safety into operational processes, standard operating procedures, and training.
  • Lead ongoing regional improvement initiatives to achieve yearly and long term EHS goals.
  • Leverage lean and six sigma principles to lead kaizen process improvement events.
  • Partner with regional leadership to proactively anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks within the supply chain to improve overall EHS performance.
  • Support new facility or retrofit design reviews to ensure use of prevention through design and incorporation of EHS standards in all engineering and real estate projects in the region.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree Bachelors.
  • 5 years of related experience preferred
