Arrow is looking for an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager

to join to the team

What You Will Be Doing

  • In cooperation with the company’s functional business groups, actively develops and applies operating procedures and work instructions as it pertains to environmental, health and/or safety practices and policies.

  • Develops policies and procedures regarding environmental, health and/or safety program.

  • Conducts site audits and may manage and maintain partner relationships or third party audit firms (if applicable). Conducts compliance reviews to support the company’s due diligence and continuing audit programs. Interprets environmental, safety and/or health regulations while conducting the audit. Reviews audit non-conformances and manages the corrective actions and communication with the business and/or partners.

  • Partner with cross-functional team to develop and deploy periodic business reviews of partners and/or contracts, including the creation of materials, managing communications chains related to documentation and communication of gaps (including missing data, non-conforming activities, or any related compliance service failure).

  • Recommend methods for improving processing to conform with compliance regulations and best practices. Accountable to recommend novel methods and strategies to bring program into compliance or maintain compliance.

  • Actively participate in decision-making and management of EHS Program and other corporate initiatives as it relates to aspects of environmental, safety and/or health practices and policies.

  • Provide ancillary technical and administrative support for permit applications, reporting, and regulatory compliance as it pertains to federal, state, and/or local regulations.

  • Confer with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.

What We're Looking For.

  • +5 years on a similar position

  • Deep knowledge of Mexican EHS NOMs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication; must be fluent in English.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Skilled in preparing clear and concise documents to comply with law, NOM and STPS regulations, including, but not limited to, correspondences and other written materials.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment.

  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive/confidential information.

  • Ability to demonstrate effective customer services skills.

  • Knowledge of and the ability to demonstrate effective office practices and etiquette.

  • Highly experience handling internal and external audits and inspections by government, customers, etc

  • Internal training for topics related to EHS

  • Availability to travel

  • ISO Knowledge 45001, 9001, 14001 (desirable).

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$64,216.67 - $76,000.00 MXN Monthly

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
