- You will be responsible for the recruitment and retention of Appointed Representatives into Quilter Financial Planning. The key focus will be bringing quality firms into the Mortgage & Protection network and supporting existing firms with their growth by recruiting individual Mortgage and/or Protection advisers into vacancies they have at firm level.
- Accountable for identifying, contacting, interviewing, assessing, attracting and selecting appropriate prospective Members
- Lead on all aspects of decision-making on quality of, risks associated with, prospective Members through to making formal offers to prospective recruits
- Responsible for the agreement and implementation of a transfer plan with the Member and work with key stakeholder to ensure that any initial production loss to the Member is minimised
- Supporting and managing new Members through the first year of Membership, and being a key communication link between them and Quilter Financial Planning
- Re-negotiation of contracts at review points, in particular, rate reviews
- Accountable for building, managing and maintaining strong relationships with new Members
- Ensure that each Members’ progress is documented appropriately in line with risk and governance
- Maintain competency in QFP’s technology and processes, in particular the Membership Contract, Recruitment process, Sales Process, Training process and content, and FCA requirements for recruitment
- Ensure that you keep your knowledge of the marketplace up to date and share this with colleagues
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that you deliver to Members in the most effective way and one that delivers good customer outcomes
- Develop a strong sense of team within the Mortgage Network and actively look for opportunities for cross collaboration within teams
- Ensure you work compliantly, in partnership with Risk and Compliance
- Support a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement, placing the customer experience front and centre
- Build strong relationships across the business, including other parts of Quilter, identifying opportunities to leverage knowledge, skills and experience for customer and commercial benefit.
- Full understanding of internal compliance and T&C requirements to ensure that we are always within the required compliance guidelines & parameters
- Accountable for identification, management and mitigation of risk.

About You
- Deep understanding of the way in which different types of Advice Professionals and Advisers operate and a track record of building relationships quickly and effectively
- Experience of constructing recruitment packages
- Deep understanding of the way in which Advisers work and
- Excellent knowledge of distribution, wholesaling arrangements, point of sale systems and financial services products
- Knowledge of all product sectors and distribution channels – has comprehensive understanding of all product sectors and distribution channels with particular focus on mortgage and protection.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Compliance requirements and operating within a risk managed environment
- Delivery focused, with high energy and drive, and ability to deliver through others
