About HEALTH Project:
Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) will implement the project Health. The project aims to improve the quality of lifesaving maternal and newborn health (MNH) care at supported facilities and communities, as evidenced by better outcomes for postpartum haemorrhage (PPH), pre-eclampsia/eclampsia (PE/E), and newborn asphyxia, ultimately contributing to reduced institutional maternal and newborn mortality. Project interventions will be delivered at both facility level and community level: WVI will focus on the community level by enhancing kader capacity to improve access to care by delivering routine and emergency maternal and newborn information and services at the community level
This position responsible for supervising Community Health Officers, ensuring completion of assigned tasks and quality of deliverables (Completion of Work/CoW). CoW is mandatory for PJI payment. Responsible for verifying the field staff's means of verification (MoVs), monitoring progress, and supporting problem-solving at the regional level. Acts as the key link between field teams and WVI national management, and donors management as necessary.
This project is subject to donor funding acquisition process. In the event that the funding agreement is not finalized, the recruitment process may be postponed or the position may not proceed. We are committed to maintaining transparent communication with all candidates throughout this process.
Strategy Development & Planning
Coordinate and work with the Community Health Officer and local governments to strengthen local institutions to ensure they can sustain the benefits of the program after the project is closed.
In coordination with NPM develop project priorities and approaches based on community and partners’ capacities, needs, resources and opportunities and in alignment with both WVI and donors standards.
Plan and implement effective initiatives to achieve performance targets in community level
Resource Acquisition & Management
Cooperatively with finance to develop and monitor budgets and all supply chain management to comply with the procedures and SOPs (in line with both WVI and donors standards)
Ensure the effective management and engagement of key stakeholders and partners to maximize program impact and success at the district level.
Capacity Building , Learning and Knowledge Management
Ensure capacity building of all Community Health Officer in his/her region
Supervise Community Health Officer to implement project in his/her region
Internalize and socialize WV core documents, including the safeguarding policy.
Promote ongoing reflection and learning among staff members.
Develop a dynamic organizational culture for the project that conveys the principles of a “Learning Organization” and applies principles of our Core Documents, policies, manuals, and procedures.
Share and documented lessons learned in program implementation with communities, development partners and other WV Partnership stakeholders at district Level.
Accountability & Quality Assurance:
Ensure the program's implementation along with the District Coordinator of Project Management Unit from the partner organization.
Build trust among Puskesmas, Pustu, communities, and local stakeholders and ensure program activities reflect local needs and contexts.
Closely monitoring the project in his/her region (progress, challenge, impact, evidence-based result, expenditures).
Ensure that the processes of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation are performed on time and with high quality.
Responsible for delivering the project activities based on DIP/ working calendar.
Manage and report on the budget according to accountability standards of the national office and donor guidelines, while ensuring the highest levels of financial stewardship and integrity.
Ensure that the DME enables the program and the projects to make a defined and measurable way of working together with partners.
Ensure that the DME processes and products are in alignment with donor standards and submitted project milestones.
Ensure a monitoring system and tools are used by all staff to track the progress of project implementation and to capture learning.
To prepare project documentation and reporting at the national level to ensure all required reports are submitted on time, accurate, and complete. This includes the provision of information for monthly reports, quarterly reports, and monitoring checklist, along with updated indicator tracking table and project documentation, and host visits of sponsors, donors, and WV staff from other offices and coordinating with the Communications Unit all media and film crew visits to the project area.
Networking & Coordination:
Coordinate Community Health Officers within his/her region in performing day to day project implementation, change/adjust activities according to existing context/ situation in consult with partner organization.
Engage with relevant stakeholders, with the support of Project team,
Build and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders,
Ensure the effective management and engagement of key stakeholders and partners to maximize program impact and success
Represent the Organization to internal and external stakeholders meeting at district Level.
Be responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with key partners and ensure that partnerships with other development partners are focused on promoting the well-being of children, especially the most vulnerable.
Coordinate and host visits of sponsors, donors, and WV staff from other offices, include to coordinate with Communications Unit all media and film crew visits to the project area.
Management & Leadership
Develop and manage annual performance agreement
Submits periodical/ monthly accomplishment report
Build and maintain positive spirit of working in team with other staff in respective unit and department
Provide Christian value and support to enrich the organization's life, faith, Christian commitments and ministry to the disadvantaged children and communities we seek to serve.
Be a role model and inspiration in managing work, communication and relationship with internal staff and external parties.
Manage all risks related to project according to organization policies, guidelines, and standard. This includes risks in fraud, safeguarding, and other related risks.
Requirement
Preferably bachelor's degree majoring in Public Health or social development or any other relevant field.
Min. 3 years’ experience as Project Coordinator or Specialist with bachelor’s degree in health, social development, or relevant field, Preferably experienced in working with Puskesmas
Had experience working (directly or indirectly) with grant funded projects.
Had experience working in humanitarian and development contexts.
Experience in project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and report writing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Able to travel within the country for coordination purposes to national office, government or donor requirement.
Prepared to engage in field mobility activities.
Has strong understanding in health issues in national
Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
Having experience in conducting baseline/evaluation activities, especially in the health/ sector.
Advanced to use all digital platforms for meetings and daily work, and Ms. Office suite.
