Regional Content Manager

Tokyo, Japan Full Time

Datadog is seeking a Regional Content Manager, Tokyo to accelerate our brand presence and business growth in the Japanese market.

This role goes beyond translation — you will lead the development, adaptation, and execution of content strategies that bring Datadog’s global messages to life for local audiences while creating original, Japan-specific content that resonates with customers.

Working closely with global and regional teams, you will ensure a consistent brand experience across product messaging, campaigns, events, and digital channels, helping deliver Datadog’s value to the Japanese market in a clear and compelling way.

What You’ll Do:

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese and professional fluency in English.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing or content development, ideally within the B2B, IT, or SaaS industry.
  • Proven ability to adapt global marketing messages and campaigns for the Japanese market, ensuring cultural and brand alignment.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Practical experience planning and executing digital marketing initiatives across web, social media, blog, and email — including ABM or digital marketing.
  • Solid understanding of the Japanese market and customer behavior, with skills in content creation and localization (e.g., copywriting, editing, translation, or interviewing).

Who You Are:

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese and professional fluency in English
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing or content development, preferably in the B2B, IT, or SaaS industry
  • Proven experience adapting global marketing messages for the Japanese market
  • Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across web, blog, social media, and email
  • Deep understanding of the Japanese market, technology landscape, and customer behavior
