Regional Business Performance Lead  

Role Overview:  

We are seeking a Regional Business Performance Lead to provide strategic financial leadership for the HBS business across the EMEA region. This role will coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes for multiple entities, deliver actionable insights, and partner with commercial and finance teams to drive profitability and optimize performance. It is a highly collaborative, hands-on position that combines financial analysis with business partnering to support decision-making at a regional level.

Role Responsibilities: 

As a Regional Business Performance Lead, you will be responsible for: 

  • Acting as the finance lead for the HBS business in the EMEA region.
  • Coordinating the annual budget process and periodic forecasts for the entire EMEA region, ensuring alignment with global targets.
  • Performing monthly and quarterly financial analysis, including income statement and P&L optimization.
  • Driving profitability analysis at customer and product level and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Ensuring full-suite support to the sales team.
  • Preparing leadership presentations and providing business recommendations beyond standard reporting.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders (Commercial Director, marketing, costing and accounting teams during month-end close).
  • Working closely with Huntsman Polyurethanes Global Reporting Team to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting.
  • Using financial tools and systems (IBM reporting and planning tools, Power BI, Excel, SAP) to deliver accurate and timely insights.
  • Supporting compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Experience and Competencies: 

We are looking for experienced candidates who can combine strong financial acumen with proactive communication and stakeholder management skills to influence business decisions across the EMEA region.

What we are looking for: 

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Min. 5 years of proven experience in FP&A or business performance roles.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred but not essential.
  • Regional or multi-country experience within EMEA is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; ability to partner effectively with senior leaders.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with IBM planning tools and Power BI (as a user).
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
