About the Team

You’ll join a collaborative, international commercial team at ICIS that works closely with some of the world’s most influential players in the commodities markets. The team combines deep market expertise with a strong customer-first mindset, partnering with clients to help them navigate complex global value chains and make informed, sustainable decisions. Collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and long-term relationships are at the heart of how the team operates.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a high-value client portfolio, typically between $2–3 million, with a strong focus on customer retention, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll build long-term relationships by understanding your clients’ challenges and delivering solutions that create real business value. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across sales, product, and market experts to drive revenue growth and ensure an excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop relationships with clients on a portfolio of between $2 to $3 million looking for cross or upsell opportunities.

  • Establish strong long term customer relationships and understand clients’ issues, pains, and challenges.

  • Increase revenue by maintaining an accurate pipeline of opportunities and Account Plans.

  • Maintain high volume and high-quality customer engagement through phone, social media, virtual meetings, and face to face meetings onsite.

  • Collaborate with all relevant business functions locally and globally.

Requirements:

  • A high level of energy, competitiveness, with a desire to learn and develop new skills.

  • Has the flexibility to adapt to a fast-changing environment and reacts well to constant change.

  • Someone who can demonstrate success in a sales role and an understanding of a sales process.

  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in German and English, both written and verbally.
