**What you’ll do**
⦿ *Refractory Maintenance:* Perform maintenance and repair of ladles and vessels, including relining with multi-component materials, cleaning old linings using chipping guns, and installing appropriate linings.
⦿ *Operational Handling:* Position and move ladles, vessels, and refractory materials safely using overhead cranes, ensuring smooth workflow and material handling.
⦿ *Quality Assurance:* Ensure all ladles, ladle components, and vessels meet process and quality requirements by following Ladle Refractory Flow Charts and Maintenance Work Instructions (MWI).
⦿ *Daily Responsibilities:* Monitor and report any unfavorable conditions or shortages related to ladles, vessels, or stopper rods to the Team Leader or supervisor promptly.
⦿ *Physical Demands:* Handle lifting loads up to 50 lbs, standing, climbing, bending, reaching, and walking in an environment with extreme heat and noise.

**What you’ll bring**
**Must-haves:**
⦿ High school diploma or GED.
⦿ Good reading, writing, mathematical, and verbal communication skills.
⦿ Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks in challenging environments.
⦿ Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols precisely.
**Nice-to-haves:**
⦿ Experience working with refractory materials or in a similar industrial maintenance role.
⦿ Familiarity with overhead crane operation and material handling.
⦿ Knowledge of safety standards in industrial or manufacturing settings.
⦿ Previous experience in mining or heavy industry environments.
