Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
University degree or advanced standing in Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, or International Business
Strong numerical aptitude and logical reasoning
Proactive, diligent, and self-motivated
Fluent English required; additional languages an advantage
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate bulk, container, and truck shipments of concentrates across the full logistics chain, including cargo packing, loading, discharge, transportation, transshipment, and storage
Arrange and manage cargo insurance coverage throughout transportation and storage
Prepare and submit commercial cargo invoices to receivers and suppliers; coordinate invoice settlement with Trade Finance; manage cash exposures and monitor and report credit exposure with counterparties
Manage relationships with service providers — including freight forwarders, shipping agents, warehouses, and surveyors — covering location screening, service agreement preparation, payment processing, and ongoing quality control
Oversee weighing, sampling, and assaying operations for concentrate cargoes; liaise with surveyors and laboratories; and maintain a thorough understanding of on-site procedures and facilities
Coordinate hedging of price exposure on concentrate shipments
Maintain accurate data entry in internal systems; produce and manage exposure and cargo reports
