Location: CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at 4813 E Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119
As a Referral Coordinator you will perform tasks such as:
Gather and communicate all relative information and preparation instructions to patients and referring providers.
Decisions typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments.
Work within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards but have some latitude over prioritization/timing.
Follow standard practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation.
Required Qualifications
Less than 3 years of hands-on healthcare experience in a clinical setting within the Medicare population
Proficient in medical terminology
Proficient in applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience in Electronic Medical Records
We consider this role patient facing and runs the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
Other Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration
Knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT coding
Referral experience
Medical Assistant or Professional State Certifications related to healthcare
Bilingual in English and Spanish
