Job Description

As a Red Teamer within the Cyber Security Officers team of our Global Information Security Office (GISO), you will play a key role in proactively identifying and mitigating cyber risks across our global operations.

You will focus on both IT and OT environments, conduct penetration tests, coordinate vulnerability assessments, and collaborate with blue teams and Cyber Risk Officers to strengthen our overall security posture.

What will you be doing?

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct or coordinate penetration testing and red-team simulations across IT and OT systems.
  • Maintain a global overview of the internal and external attack surface, prioritizing high-risk areas.
  • Consolidate and distribute threat intelligence to stakeholders within the organization and ecosystem.
  • Review technical risk assessments and challenge mitigation strategies to ensure effectiveness.
  • Coordinate remediation activities and follow-ups with first-line teams.
  • Establish and facilitate a Community of Practice (CoP) for offensive security to enable “shift-left” security.
  • Collaborate with blue teams and other security stakeholders to improve detection, response, and overall cyber resilience.

Key focus areas

  • Attack Surface Management: Maintain an up-to-date view of internal and external threats, leveraging automation and threat intelligence to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Penetration Testing & Red Teaming: Organize, execute, and track testing activities, including follow-up on remediation plans.
  • Threat Intelligence: Gather, analyse, and share insights to support proactive risk management.
  • Community of Practice (CoP): Lead offensive security CoPs to build security ownership and maturity within first-line teams.
  • Risk Assessment Review: Evaluate technical risk assessments for completeness and adequacy of controls.

What do we ask from you?

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in red teaming, penetration testing, or offensive security.
  • Experience with both IT and OT environments in large or complex organizations is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with penetration testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, MITRE ATT&CK).
  • Knowledge of network protocols, web application security, OT security concepts (ICS/SCADA), and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
  • Scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Relevant certifications are highly desirable (e.g., OSCP, OSCE, CEH, CISSP, CREST, GIAC).
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Fluent in English.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 5.400 to € 6.400 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance).
