Mercer is seeking candidates for the position of Rectification Analyst. This role will be based in our Sydney, Adelaide or Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Rectification Analyst - Fixed Term Contract
We will count on you to:
Lead incident rectification activities including root cause analysis, customer impact assessment, and the design and execution of remediation plans, primarily focusing on insurance-related incidents.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple business functions to coordinate remediation efforts and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
Support accurate breach and investigation reporting to regulators and provide timely status updates to internal teams.
Assist in the development and implementation of preventive controls to reduce future operational errors and incidents.
Contribute to continuous improvement by coaching peers and participating in process reviews within the Incidents Team.
What you need to have:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry, with strong knowledge of insurance within superannuation.
Proven experience in an operations compliance environment, with a solid understanding of risk and remediation processes.
Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualifications.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to diverse audiences.
Self-motivated and adaptable, comfortable working in a small team within a dynamic environment.
