Mercer is seeking candidates for the position of Rectification AnalystThis role will be based in our Sydney, Adelaide or Melbourne office.  This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Rectification Analyst - Fixed Term Contract

We will count on you to:

  • Lead incident rectification activities including root cause analysis, customer impact assessment, and the design and execution of remediation plans, primarily focusing on insurance-related incidents.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple business functions to coordinate remediation efforts and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

  • Support accurate breach and investigation reporting to regulators and provide timely status updates to internal teams.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventive controls to reduce future operational errors and incidents.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by coaching peers and participating in process reviews within the Incidents Team.

What you need to have:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry, with strong knowledge of insurance within superannuation.

  • Proven experience in an operations compliance environment, with a solid understanding of risk and remediation processes.

  • Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualifications.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to diverse audiences.

  • Self-motivated and adaptable, comfortable working in a small team within a dynamic environment.
