The Position

Roche Diagnostics Johannesburg is recruiting for a Recruitment Graduate for a 6 month fixed term contract.

As a Graduate in Talent Acquisition you will be part of the Roche EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) Recruiting team, a group of highly skilled professionals in our Integrated Workforce Strategies organization. We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for recent graduates to help attract and bring the very best talent into Roche. The team you will closely work with is based in various countries in the EMEA region and you will have the opportunity to build a global network.

The internship will focus on Recruiting with a specific focus on building skills in the key processes and technologies. You will have the opportunity to learn first hand from experienced Talent Acquisition Partners about full cycle recruitment and quickly contribute and take over responsibilities.

In this position you will

• Gain firsthand experience in recruiting within a complex international environment.
• Be responsible for elements of the recruiting processes (sourcing, scheduling, screening and assessing candidates) using our e-recruitment system Workday and Phenom.
• Partner with experts in the P&C community and various business departments.
• Learn key skills such as planning, organising, stakholder management and candidate experience
• Build and benefit from a broad network within P&C at Roche and get to know different P&C areas.
• Connect with employees all over the world and learn how Roche develops groundbreaking medicine.

Who you are

• You are an ambitious student who has recently completed or is about to complete a qualification preferably in Business, Psychology, Life Science or in a related field.
• A person who works proactively and brings a high level of initiative for qualitatively high professional management, as well as a dedicated attitude.
• An excellent communicator across different hierarchical levels, with a service oriented demeanor.
• Prior HR administrative experience will be preferred.
• Experience in project management is a plus.
• Proficient in English.
• Ideally experienced in GSuite, social media tools (e.g. LinkedIn) and fascinated by digital solutions or similar experience in a recruitment function.
