Title: Lateral Recruiting Coordinator

Core Competencies:

The Lateral Recruiting Coordinator provides recruiting process and execution support across Harris Williams Industry Groups. This position reports to the Head of Lateral Recruiting, and in strategic collaboration with our Lateral Associate Recruiter. The Coordinator helps to identify and source top talent for our banking teams.  This role has the potential to progress to full recruiter responsibilities over time, with demonstrated success in the Lateral Recruiting Coordinator role.

  • This is an in-office role. Light after hour email usage expected.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and executes interview schedules for banker hiring processes
    • Schedules candidate interviews from initial recruiter screens to in-person Super Days
    • Coordinates logistics for interviews in all offices, partnering with local office support
    • Manages candidate communications and drafts internal confirmation emails
    • Collects feedback; schedules and participates in debrief sessions
    • Provides calendar support for the Head of Lateral Recruiting and Associate Recruiter, as needed
  • Maintains iCIMS candidate database (applicant tracking system)
  • Manages job postings and reviews resumes for candidates applying for banker roles, in partnership with the Lateral Recruiting team
  • Organizes candidate submissions and schedules with external recruiters
  • Reconciles expenses for the Head of Lateral Recruiting and Associate Recruiter
  • Supports key marketing strategies, including:
    • Harris Williams job postings via Workday
    • LinkedIn job postings, campaigns, and ads
  • Provides pre-onboarding support to prospective new hires, including application process, references, degree verification
  • Assists with HW Alumni event planning and execution

Job Specific Competencies, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Interest in pursuing a career in recruiting or talent management
  • Ability to interact effectively with management at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and research techniques
  • Organized, detail oriented, and diligent with the ability to meet deadlines and execute efficiently
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Self-driven but collaborative approach that builds interpersonal networks
  • Commitment to data integrity; experience with applicant tracking systems a plus
  • Curious mindset that proactively identifies opportunity areas and directs resources towards continuous improvement

Base Salary: $65,000 – $75,000

  • Salaries may vary within the range based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. ​
  • Role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
