About the role

As a Recruiter at Roku, you’ll own full-cycle recruiting across assigned functions and locations, acting as a consultative partner and trusted advisor to hiring teams. You’ll combine business acumen, market intelligence, and creative sourcing to deliver diverse, high-caliber pipelines; ensure accurate, compliant process execution; and provide a consistently positive candidate and hiring manager experience. You’ll influence interviewing strategy and hiring decisions using data-backed insights, while maintaining impeccable data integrity across our tools and workflows.

What you’ll be doing

Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, interview plans, and decision criteria; provide timely, data-driven updates and recommendations throughout the search.
Build and manage diverse candidate pipelines using multi-channel strategies (inbound, outbound, referrals), tailoring messaging and approach to market conditions and team needs.
Drive end-to-end process excellence: screening, interview orchestration, debrief facilitation, offer proposal inputs, and pre-boarding handoffs—while ensuring compliance and a consistently great candidate experience.
Maintain rigorous data integrity across recruiting systems; document relevant details promptly and accurately; surface workflow, technology, and data issues with proposed solutions.
Analyze market, product, and geographic trends to inform outreach, campaigns, and location guidance; leverage insights to influence hiring strategy and expectations.
Use metrics and insights to advise stakeholders, anticipate needs, and optimize pace, cadence, and conversion throughout the funnel; share best practices across TA.
Champion Roku Success Factors in every interaction, demonstrating bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and a pragmatic, problem-solving mindset.
Collaborate across TA and cross-functional partners, proactively sharing pipeline, knowledge, trends, and best practices; contribute to team projects and improvements.

We’re excited if you have

6+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in product companies with ownership across sourcing, stakeholder management, and closing.
Consultative partnership skills with demonstrated ability to influence interviewing and hiring decisions using data and market insights.
Proven ability to build and convert diverse pipelines using modern tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, talent communities, campaigns) and tailored outreach across multiple channels.
Strong business acumen; can connect team goals to Roku’s broader strategy and adjust approaches based on business cycles and market conditions.
Impeccable process and data discipline; fluency with recruiting systems and compliance practices; habit of documenting the most relevant data promptly and accurately.
Bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and resourceful problem solving that exemplify Roku’s Success Factors in a fast-moving environment.
AI literacy and curiosity: you’ve either tried GenAI in your work or outside of work, or are actively exploring it and its applications in recruiting.
Commitment to inclusive, culturally neutral language and practices that attract a broad, diverse talent pool.

The Roku Culture

Roku is a great place for people who want to work in a fast-paced environment where everyone is focused on the company's success rather than their own. We try to surround ourselves with people who are great at their jobs, who are easy to work with, and who keep their egos in check. We appreciate a sense of humor. We believe a fewer number of very talented folks can do more for less cost than a larger number of less talented teams. We're independent thinkers with big ideas who act boldly, move fast and accomplish extraordinary things through collaboration and trust. In short, at Roku you'll be part of a company that's changing how the world watches TV.

We have a unique culture that we are proud of. We think of ourselves primarily as problem-solvers, which itself is a two-part idea. We come up with the solution, but the solution isn't real until it is built and delivered to the customer. That penchant for action gives us a pragmatic approach to innovation, one that has served us well since 2002.
