We are looking for a strategic and high-velocity Business Recruiter to help grow Lyft globally. You will be a talent partner across a variety of key pipelines, from Policy, to Marketing, to Global Supply Management. This role requires a unique blend of critical thinking, grit, and the ability to pivot quickly in a constantly evolving landscape. You will also be responsible for being the core point of contact for key internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process for our business organization ensuring a seamless, uniform and incredibly positive candidate experience
  • Create a scalable process that meets the needs of our growing company
  • Partner with internal clients to develop sourcing strategy for current and future needs
  • Innovate on ways to build a talent pipeline and recruit in a variety of venues
  • Source candidates from relevant networks, online and internal databases, employee referrals and passive candidates through networking and research
  • Conduct regular business partners' meetings to educate on recruiting best practices, market data, including execution of recruiting processes and tools
  • Work internally with Lyft hiring managers to understand positions and team needs
  • Negotiate offers by partnering with hiring managers and any relevant stakeholders and working cross-functionally with legal, compensation/benefits, immigration, etc.
  • Build diverse and inclusive teams

Experience:

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a proven track record of managing 10-12+ active requisitions simultaneously across different functional areas. Preferably within Policy, Global Supply Management, Finance, and Marketing. 
  • Experience in a hyper-growth or "scale-up" environment where priorities and hiring profiles can shift rapidly.
  • Strong operational excellence—you are comfortable managing your own pipeline data and using it to tell a story to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to move from kick-off to offer with speed and precision, without sacrificing diversity or quality of hire.
  • Expertise in creative sourcing beyond LinkedIn (e.g., niche communities, or diversity-focused platforms).
  • A self-directed operator capable of managing multiple requisitions with minimal oversight, while remaining a culture carrier who supports peers and shares 'wins' and learnings across the Global Recruiting team.
  • While not required, fluency in French is a plus as we continue to scale our global operations and connect with diverse candidate pools, specifically in Montreal.

Lyft highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office at least 3 days per week, including on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The expected base pay range for this position in the Toronto area is CAD 84,000 - CAD $105,000, not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
