What you’ll do: 

  • The Recreation Therapist plans, implements and evaluates services in accordance with a comprehensive assessment to meet the physical, mental, and psychosocial well being, as well as individualized needs and interests of patients. Provides direct patient care, which may include evaluating patients, planning, and modifying patient care. Implement treatment interventions based on patient’s assessed needs, abilities, and limitations.

What you’ll need for this job: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Recreation Therapy, Art Therapy or related degree
  • 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
  • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
  • Other: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS), or Registered Dance Movement Therapist (R-DMT), or Art Therapist (ATR).
