Job Description:
This position will primarily work M-F, 8am-4:30pm but will rotate some evening and weekend hours.
Job Details
Plans, schedules and conducts psychoeducational classes on recovery as assigned (e. g., medication side effects, ADL, communication skills, stress management strategies).
Provides therapeutic support within the units and Recovery Center.
Teaches and models healthy behaviors, consistent with the treatment/care goals of recovery.
Contributes to safe and therapeutic environment by practicing verbal de-escalation and, as authorized, other behavior management techniques.
Completes and maintains service documentation according to mandated standards.
Communicates information relevant to care, treatment, and services, with other staff members.
Assist with patient care duties and other activities as necessary.
Qualifications
Must have high school diploma or GED.
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (or equivalent experience.)
1 year of relevant experience preferred.
Must be willing to work some evenings, weekends and holidays.
Valid driver's license.
