Recovery Coordinator

Location: HAGA Seven Sisters
Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £28,487- £34,730 per annum

About the Role

As a key member of the Haringey Recovery Service (HRS), you will manage a caseload of adult service users receiving recovery support within community settings. The role involves working both from the main office at HAGA/HRS, 590 Seven Sisters Road, and out in the community.

You will deliver person-centred, evidence-based interventions to support individuals accessing care for:

  • Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST)
  • Alcohol use
  • Non-opiate substance use
  • Combined alcohol and non-opiate needs

This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in improving health outcomes and supporting individuals throughout their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured one-to-one support and harm minimisation advice
  • Develop and review personalised recovery plans
  • Facilitate and run group sessions within the service and wider community
  • Empower service users to set and achieve recovery goals safely
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with GPs, healthcare professionals, and wider social care networks
  • Work alongside community partners to support access to additional services beyond appointments
  • Support and engage volunteers and peer support workers

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need

Essential

  • A strong passion for supporting individuals through recovery
  • Ability to build positive, professional relationships with service users and stakeholders
  • Experience delivering person-centred or tailored interventions
  • Strong communication and motivational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams
  • A community-focused, inclusive approach to practice

Desirable

  • Experience working within substance misuse services or similar support roles
  • Knowledge of harm reduction approaches and recovery models
  • Experience facilitating group sessions or workshops
  • Understanding of partnership working across health and social care services
