Job Summary
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our company. The Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization, welcoming guests and greeting people who visit the business. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.
Primary Responsibilities:
Answer incoming telephone calls, determines the purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
Greets and welcomes on-site visitors in a friendly and professional manner, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel
Routes office deliveries
Ensures all guests register by signing security visitor’s log.
Manage badge system to provide guest and temporary/replacement badges
Assists with daily mail receipt and administrative support for other areas
Supports the monitoring of office supply storage
May provide back up support for Facility related tasks
Provides administrative support, as needed.
Assist the Human Resources Department with various duties when needed.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Prior receptionist and/or clerical experience with excellent telephone etiquette, required
Due to the nature of the job function, reliable transportation and the ability to be punctual and dependable are imperative
Able to answer questions about organization and provide callers with office addresses, directions, and other information
Prior computer experience (Microsoft Office use) preferred
Cooperative demeanor, the ability to get along well with management, associates, vendors, etc. is essential
Honesty, as well as respect for the company and its policies and procedures, is crucial.
