The Receptionist at Julius Baer plays a vital role as the first point of contact, representing the bank’s standard of excellence, discretion, and superior client service. Based at the front desk, this position ensures a secure, organized, and welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and employees.Client & Visitor Management: Greet clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth, verifying appointments and facilitating a seamless arrival experience. Deliver personalized service in client meeting rooms, ensuring comfort and discretion in alignment with Julius Baer’s private banking standards
Security: Enforce security standards in coordination with security team and maintain confidentiality
Administrative Support: maintain front desk supplies, manage mail distribution,prepare meeting rooms
Meeting Support: Facilitate smooth arrival and check-in for visiting clients during meetings or events, often coordinating behind-the-scenes logistics
Confidentiality & Compliance: Uphold strict privacy standards in line with data protection policies, especially when handling sensitive visitation or scheduling details
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
High level of discretion and integrity
Multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Strong command of German and English (additional languages such as French, Italian or Spanish are advantageous)
Proficient in MS Office, phone systems, and meeting management tools
Polished appearance and professional behaviour aligned with corporate branding
