What you'll be doing:
As a Reception and Facilities Assistant, you’ll be the welcoming face of NZTE and play a key role in creating a positive, well‑run office environment for our people and visitors by providing manaakitanga (hospitality, kindness, support), working alongside with another receptionist.

We are looking for a highly customer‑focused professional who brings strong initiative and a proactive approach to delivering an exceptional workplace experience. You will be known for anticipating needs, solving problems effectively and taking ownership to ensure issues are addressed both before and when they arise.
You will bring an enthusiastic, can‑do mindset and enjoy working closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders and external visitors. A passion for continuous improvement is essential, along with the ability to contribute ideas and follow through on implementing practical enhancements.
You will be an excellent communicator with a strong eye for detail and the ability to balance professionalism with approachability. Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint) is required, and experience working in a front‑of‑house, corporate office environment will be highly regarded.
You must also be legally entitled to drive in New Zealand.
