We are looking for a new Receiving Supervisor to join our growing Inbound Team and Fulfillment Center network. This individual will report into our Inbound Manager and oversees daily receiving operations in the NJ fulfillment center, managing a team of associates and working closely with onsite leaders to ensure shipments are accurately inspected, processed, and recorded. This role ensures inventory accuracy and timely product availability, directly supporting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. 

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: 335,000 sq. ft. in Dayton, NJ at 30 Apple Orchard Dr., Suite 1, Dayton, NJ 08810

Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 6:00am to 2:30pm EST

Salary: $72,000 – $90,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the daily functions of the receiving team to ensure all material is checked in and put away in its appropriate location in a timely and accurate manner
  • Following up on discrepancies and inconsistencies with purchase orders
  • Recording and checking the quantity/quality of products received, and ensuring the receiving area is clean, safe, orderly, and functioning properly
  • Leading shift start-up meetings and relaying any staffing/volume concerns to the Inbound Manager
  • Assigning work to receiving associates
  • Ensuring POs are completed with the provided deadline
  • ​Tracking performance of each team member and providing consistent feedback regularly along with check-ins
  • Ensuring individual and departmental KPI success
  • Conducting monthly check-ins with each member of the receiving team in order to establish rapport and provide feedback
  • Immediately addressing all personnel and performance related incidents that arise
  • Executing all projects and process improvements assigned by the Inbound Manager

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to push and pull objects up to 60 pounds of force independently
    • Employees are expected to seek help or use appropriate equipment to ensure safety for any task involving pushing or pulling that exceeds 60 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8-10 hours and up to 20,000 steps per day
  • Fundamental understanding of inventory, supply chain and logistics concepts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Word, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills; strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, multitask and follow process and standard procedures
