Receiving Inspection

As a Receiving Inspector you will be working in a Naval/Aerospace Defense environment, conducting inspection of mechanical, hydraulic and electro-mechanical assemblies.

Location: Mississauga, ON

Salary: $65,000 to $80,000

Your Challenge:

  • Ensure all work is performed according to the company Quality Management System (QMS) and that all parts meet customer specifications.
  • Proficient in the interpretation of complex engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Measurement inspection of mechanical parts and assemblies
  • Experience working with CMM equipment is considered an asset.


What You Bring:

  • Must have previous Quality Control/Assurance experience.
  • Competent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Business system experience (Oracle) is an asset.
  • Experience with a Quality Management Suite, such as TIPQA is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, plus the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a busy environment with minimal supervision.
  • Must have knowledge of calibration methods and standards.
  • Superior skills in the use of mechanical metrology instruments.
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Graduation from an appropriate post-secondary program.
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
