WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for receiving and transferring of goods from the warehouse to departments for Dreamscape’s Rio Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. The position will also fill requisitions as needed, keep equipment maintained and in proper working condition, and ensure all products are issued/delivered in a timely order.
ROLE EXPECTATIONS
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain exceptional customer service at every interaction.
Perform clerical duties, including processing of all paperwork within the warehouse and casino hotel facility.
Responsible for document destruction and document retrieval projects.
Maintain an effective, organized system of record storage.
Operate forklift and similar equipment to move warehouse supplies.
Assist in coordinating the receipt and distribution of all general inventory items between the Purchasing Department, user departments, Inventory Accounting Supervisor and Accounting Coordinator.
Perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong organizational skills.
Proactive with attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Able to set priorities, work schedules, and meet department deadlines.
High School Diploma or GED (required).
At least 21 years of age.
PREFERRED
1-2 years experience in a similar position.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
Must regularly lift and/move up to 50-75 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.
