The Rebate Analyst is responsible for interpreting small to intermediate pharmaceutical manufacturer contracts. This includes all aspects of the contract from formulary compliance, to system capabilities to reconciliation and allocation of payments to clients.
Responsibilities
Analyze small to intermediate manufacturer contract terms to ensure compatibility with rebate system; perform contract set up for each rebate period
Coordinate with internal departments (i.e., Trade Client Strategies, Formulary Management, etc.) and clients to analyze, validate and distribute quarterly rebate invoices and reports
Reconcile and/or validate manufacturer payments compared to invoicing; prepare payments for allocation to clients
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
2 years of work experience in accounting, accounts receivable, billing, rebate, pharmacy, and/or claims
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft products including Excel and Word
Strong analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
Pharmacy or Pharmacy Rebate operations experience
Accounting and Accounts Receivable experience
