Real World Data Analyst

IQVIA’s Real World Data area is focused on maximizing the insights and evidence contained in Healthcare data, continuously looking for innovative processes and analytics to drive healthcare forward

Essential Functions of the role

  • Support the development of robust analyses using real-world healthcare data, including longitudinal patient data.
  • Apply analytical approaches to address client questions, using tools such as SAS, Python, SQL or R, and support the preparation of clear and insightful client deliverables.
  • Develop an understanding of diseases and patient management, helping to translate data analyses into actionable evidence.
  • Collaborate with team members in the preparation of analysis plans and reports, as well as in the validation of patient-level analyses.
  • Contribute to the design and development of new analytical approaches and innovative ways of working.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams across the organization, contributing to integrated, end‑to‑end solutions for clients and gaining exposure to both clinical and commercial aspects of the life sciences industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field; experience working with healthcare data is preferred.
  • Experience writing and working with analytical scripts using tools such as SAS, Python, SQL or R.
  • Experience managing and working with large datasets.
  • Familiarity with patient-level healthcare data and the pharmaceutical market; previous exposure to pharmaceutical data is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset with good problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and an interest in consulting-style work.
  • Proactive, curious, and pragmatic, with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
  • Comfortable working in a client-focused, results-driven and dynamic environment.
  • Fluent in English and Native Spanish
