he Analyst will assist with the management of a portfolio of approximately 20-30 open Cambria and Everhome Suites hotels across the United States. The Analyst will perform medium complex quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify and track opportunities to improve property performance. This will require developing an understanding of the key factors that affect the markets where Choice has product and collaborating with the on-property third party management teams to understand their operations. Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for building and maintaining portfolio reporting and financial analysis tools such as dashboard reports, benchmarking, and ROI models utilized for executive level presentations. The Analyst will also create 5-year capital improvement plans for each hotel and work collaboratively with on-property management teams and third-party project managers to execute capital improvement projects. This role will frequently collaborate with the Choice Investments team, third-party hotel managers, brokers, and potential asset buyers. Along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, the Analyst must display excellent interpersonal and analytical skills that foster strong interaction with management and external parties.
Job Summary

You’ll collaborate with internal teams, third-party managers, and brokers to execute strategies that drive revenue and asset value. This position offers exposure to sales-related initiatives and strategic planning within a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct monthly P&L reviews and market analysis to identify performance opportunities and risks.
- Build and maintain portfolio reporting tools, dashboards, benchmarking, and ROI models for executive presentations.
- Develop and execute 5-year capital improvement plans in partnership with property teams and project managers.
- Support strategic business plans for each asset and assist with asset dispositions, including due diligence coordination.
- Collaborate with Choice Investments, brokers, and third-party managers to ensure alignment with revenue objectives.
Qualifications
Experience
- 1–3 years in hotel asset management, feasibility, or on-property hotel operations preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of hotel Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Additional Skills & Competencies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Resourceful and detail-oriented; able to prioritize multiple projects independently.
- Self-starter with ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Ability to travel approximately 10%.
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 annually.
