The Credit Maintenance Analyst is an entry level position responsible for capturing and recording data related to credit exposure, obligors and facilities in relevant credit systems in coordination with the Operations - Services team. The overall objective of this role is to maintain data quality in credit systems, monitor credit exposure and adhere to overall credit policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for providing comprehensive real estate valuation services to internal customers, supporting loan approval and credit review processes. 
  • Process incoming credit requests reviewing for completeness/accuracy, and convert to concise, accurately recorded credit facilities
  • Analyze/evaluate credit reports as well as coordinate and follow up on actions plans, implementations, and related defects
  • Advise on property valuation and land-related matters to assist business units and ensuring regulatory and Citigroup compliance. 
  • To liaise with internal customers and external surveyors for efficient service delivery, conducting annual due diligence and performance reviews of external appraisal firms, preparing performance monitoring reports and processing valuation invoices. 
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports to ensure relevant documents for underwriting process
  • Prepare portfolio and related credit information for internal and external auditors
  • Maintain an executive document to track all request, changes, and action plans performed on credit reports
  • Make evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information
  • Assist with data input and management in the Appraisal Management System.
  • Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedence
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience required
  • Experience in credit operations or similar position
  • Can speak Cantonese and English fluently
  • Knowledge of the processes, procedures and systems
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Windows domain
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

Education:

  • College’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
