The Web team is seeking a highly skilled Senior React Engineer to lead the evolution of Forcepoint.com’s Next.js frontend, ensuring world-class performance, reliability, and user experience across a global, multilingual digital ecosystem. This role will shape the foundation of a marketing engine that accelerates brand growth, conversion efficiency, and customer engagement in the AI-era.
A successful Senior React Engineer brings deep expertise in React and Next.js, and thrives at the intersection of speed, performance, and engineering rigor. You possess an instinct for clean, scalable code, can independently unravel complex problems, and understand how each interaction, component, and millisecond impacts user experience, SEO, and conversion.

Responsibilities Include
Own the Next.js frontend architecture of Forcepoint.com, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Build reusable React components and frontend systems that accelerate page production, UI consistency, and team velocity.
Translate Figma UX/UI designs into high-quality, production ready React code that is responsive, accessible, and optimized for conversion.
Optimize Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) and enforce performance budgets across the frontend.
Understand caching strategies and edge-optimized patterns for global delivery (Vercel Edge, CDN layers).
Integrate with backend GraphQL/REST APIs through efficient, cache-friendly patterns.
Implement server-side and client-side rendering strategies that maximize performance and SEO.
Partner closely with backend (Drupal 10 / GraphQL) engineers to ensure a seamless decoupled architecture.
Support A/B testing development and integration with VWO Data360.
Participate in technical planning, grooming, code reviews, and mentoring other engineers.
Stay current on emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, build tools, and performance methodologies.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build processes, and deployment workflows.
Help monitor site health through logs and observation tools
Required Technical Skills
Expert-level React and Next.js
Strong proficiency with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
Experience with SSR, SSG, ISR, and hybrid rendering strategies
Deep understanding of web performance, Core Web Vitals, and frontend optimization
Strong HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, responsive design fundamentals
Experience consuming GraphQL APIs
Familiarity with Node.js build tools and package managers (npm, yarn)
Experience with Git, code reviews, and collaborative version control workflows
Experience building or contributing to a design system or component library
Nice to Have Skills
Vercel (hosting, serverless functions, edge functions)
Decoupled CMS experience (Drupal)
Web accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) best practices
Analytics and experimentation tools (Tealium, VWO, Adobe Analytics)
Performance monitoring (New Relic)
Figma or other UI prototyping tools
Experience with internationalization and large multilingual websites
CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
Qualified Candidates Should Have
5–7+ years of frontend engineering experience, with significant work in React and Next.js
Demonstrated ability to ship performant, scalable, enterprise-level web applications
Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals as they relate to frontend architecture
Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work cross-functionally
Strong communication, prioritization, and time-management skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, or related field
