As an R&D Project Manager in Grid Integration MACH (GI MACH), you will lead development projects that strengthen and expand MACH™ capabilities, playing a central role with high visibility and close collaboration with global, cross-functional teams.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead product development projects with end-to-end accountability for scope, schedule, cost, and quality.

  • Build and lead cross-functional, globally distributed teams across specification, architecture, HW/SW design, verification, and production/industrialization.

  • Plan and drive the project from initiation to release, including timeline and cost forecasts, using established tools, processes, and governance.

  • Monitor progress, dependencies, and risks; remove blockers and take proactive actions to keep delivery on track.

  • Communicate project status to key stakeholders through clear reporting and data-driven insights.

  • Drive continuous improvement within GI MACH project execution by proposing, piloting, and adopting new ways of working, tools, and best practices.

Your background

  • University degree in a relevant field (e.g., project management, electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering) or equivalent experience.

  • Experience working with project management methods, tools, and governance; certifications such as PMI are a plus.

  • Background in product development within embedded systems and/or power grid applications such as HVDC or FACTS is an advantage.

  • Strong communication skills and a structured, proactive way of working, with a continuous-improvement mindset.

  • A collaborative, people-oriented leadership style, with the ability to motivate others toward a common goal.

  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and manage stakeholders in a matrix organization.

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
