The opportunity:

Join Hitachi Energy India Development Centre (IDC), an R&D organization in Chennai and Bangalore that works with global R&D and research centers across 12 countries. In this role, you will help design and deliver digital solutions and product capabilities by building modern, secure, and high-performing user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to engineering best practices, and mentor other developers while continuously learning through diverse global projects.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Manage and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters. You will handle scaling and performance tuning.

• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for Azure resources.

• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for build, test, and deployment automation.

• Implement GitOps workflows with Argo CD and manage Helm charts for packaging and releases.

• Configure and manage Azure services such as Key Vault, Blob Storage, and Entra ID (Azure AD).

• Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability using tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual operations and improve deployment efficiency.

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:

• Required Experience: 4–6 years in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment systems on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes.

• Hands-on expertise with AKS, identity, networking, and core Azure services. Strong Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform (or similar).

• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management using Azure DevOps (or similar).

• Strong Linux administration skills and Docker containerization experience. Scripting and automation skills with Bash and PowerShell, plus YAML for configuration. Work with global R&D teams across multiple countries and technology areas.
