What will you do?

In this unique hybrid opportunity, as Manager – Supplier Management & Risk, you will play a critical role in providing horizontal support for Supplier Management and risk leadership for RBCx. In this role, you will:

  • Drive the Supplier Risk Management program across RBCx.
  • Work alongside acquisition integration teams to onboard and risk assess suppliers flowing from acquisitions.
  • Support the deployment and assessment of AI vendors and the rapid deployment of strategic initiative priorities.
  • Develop strategies to operationalize and refine the supplier selection, onboarding and maintenance process for the full RBCx Vendor Roster.
  • Work alongside Product teams (Ownr/Houseful/Dr.Bill/MyDoh) to support business growth and action issue and risk remediation strategies.
  • Support OSI led projects focused on major IT Operations system migrations and security optimization strategies.
  • Assist with consolidating over 200 RBCx third party suppliers; and the streamlining of the RBCx vendor onboarding process.
  • Work towards standardizing solutions that enable RBCx teams to seamlessly engage their business domain shared-services solutions in a streamlined manner.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • 2 + years experience in RBC
  • Project Management: Experience in project management and working within teams with a high-degree of stakeholdering.
  • Supplier risk management: A demonstrated understanding and awareness of Supplier Risk Management and associated risk and control processes and frameworks at RBC and associated tooling (i.e. Archer)
  • Advanced Innovative Thinking: A strong desire to take ownership of and drive solutions for the business, leveraging strong communication skills and innovating thinking to develop solutions to complex risk management challenges. 
  • Operating model optimization: ability to improve the ongoing effectiveness of the RBCx Supplier Management Program, ensuring it remains efficient and effective.

Nice to have:

  • Fast-paced environment: prior experience in a dynamic and adaptive work-setting such as a fintech or start-up environment.
  • Change management: exposure to the successful implementation of change management strategies (i.e. regulatory change management).
  • Education: An undergraduate degree
