RBC Wealth Management Europe provides comprehensive wealth management capabilities through RBC Brewin Dolphin and RBC Wealth Management to private clients, including professionals, inheritors, business owners, entrepreneurs, intermediaries and charities. We help clients meet their financial goals through investments, financial planning, trust, credit, and banking capabilities.

What is the opportunity?

Our Birmingham office is seeking a talented Wealth Manager in the early stages of their advisory career. If you’re a newly or recently qualified advisor with a passion for wealth management and a drive to succeed, we would love to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will have recently obtained approval to provide advice or gained hands-on experience managing client relationships. This is your chance to take the next bold step in your career, joining a dynamic team where ambition meets opportunity.

As a Wealth Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to deliver net revenue growth while ensuring outstanding client experiences. This role is ideal for someone eager to build and nurture client relationships and develop a deep understanding of their financial goals and ambitions and collaborate and grow. You will work alongside specialists to deliver bespoke wealth advice and grow your expertise in financial planning, investment management, and banking.

RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?

  • Manage a diverse client base, fostering trust and delivering tailored wealth solutions.

  • Originate new business opportunities through referrals and proactive networking.

  • Stay ahead of the curve with continuous professional development and specialist training.

  • Adhere to regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with FCA rules

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager qualification, with a passion for wealth management.

  • Proven relationship management skills—ability to earn client trust and articulate complex financial concepts simply.

  • A growth mindset—thrive in changing environments, embrace new challenges, and drive business development.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills—confidently engage clients and colleagues alike.

  • Team player—collaborate across departments to deliver One RBC solutions.

Nice-to-have

  • Proactive networking in the local and surrounding areas with pre-established connections.
