What is the opportunity?

The Strategic Partnerships Group (SPG) are a national sales team principally working with professional service firms, owners and entrepreneurs and private clients. Although the team is located across the UK, they have fostered a strong, supportive, and collegiate team approach, that works to create introductions and deepen relationships with the Wealth Management Europe office network and key professional connections.

The team has ambitious targets and great plans for the coming years, and to support with this growth they are seeking a Regional Strategic Partnerships Executive (RSPE). Reporting to the Director, Regional Strategic Partnerships and wider Regional Strategic Partnerships Managers (RSPM), you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and fostering strategic partnerships across the North-East market. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute SPG initiatives, build relationships with key Centres of Influence (CoIs); accountants, lawyers etc, and contribute to the achievement of new business targets.

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with offices and functions to develop and execute SPG initiatives aligned with regional and national strategies, tracking results and delivering commercially viable outcomes.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key Centres of Influence (CoIs) through proactive engagement, networking, and events to drive new business opportunities.

  • Coordinate and monitor referrals, ensuring accurate tracking and timely follow-up on designated systems.

  • Support direct client engagement and conversion of opportunities alongside Wealth Managers and the regional RSPM team.

  • Contribute to SPG new business targets, monitoring progress via the pipeline tool and reporting to senior leadership.

  • Foster strong internal relationships to ensure open communication and collaboration.

  • Stay informed on market conditions and adapt to regulatory and business changes.

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development teams to develop and maintain collateral and external partnerships.

What do you need to succeed?
 

Must-have

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven relationship-building abilities.

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Proactive and self-motivated approach with a focus on business development.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems and maintaining accurate records.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated success in a similar business development or partnership role, within financial services / professional services

Nice-to-have

  • Relevant Level 4 qualification (CII or CISI) or equivalent.

  • Experience in wealth management
