Job Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
EHS and Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Huntsman Corporate EHS standard, business ethics and international trade compliance
Key Business Responsibility
Raw Material Procurement & Planning:
- Issue purchase requisitions (PR) for third-party raw materials and purchase orders (PO) for captive raw materials based on validated production plans, supplier lead times, and inventory status.
- Optimize replenishment frequency and quantity to balance cost efficiency and supply security
Supply Coordination & Issue Resolution:
- Collaborate with buyers, sourcing teams, and intercompany partners to confirm raw material availability, including potential demand not reflected in SAP.
- Communicate promptly with SNP and CFR teams regarding supply changes that may impact production or customer order fulfillment; proactively resolve issues
- Proactively identify risks and resolve supply issues with strong problem-solving skills
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage raw material, packaging, and captive inventory levels to ensure supply security and meet demand fluctuations
- Handle problematic inventory (e.g., aging, blocked, expiring, or expired stock) and drive preventive actions and continuous improvement
Process Execution & Data Maintenance:
- Execute standard operational processes with discipline and quality; escalate exceptions when necessary.
- Maintain planning parameters in SAP/SNP and lead weekly C+3 raw material supply review meetings with buyers and sourcing teams
Compliance & Continuous Improvement:
- Ensure adherence to EHS, HR, and administrative regulations
- Support vendor performance improvement by identifying and addressing issues.
Other duty:
- Other tasks assigned by ling managers, etc
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor degree or above; Major in SCM preferred or planning experience
Expreiences:
1. Minimum 2 years of experience in raw material planning or supply chain management. Prefer experience in chemical or manufacturing industries.
2. Familiarity with SNP, inventory optimization, and supply chain processes
Know-how/skills:
- Strong knowledge of planning and inventory management.
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficient in Excel and planning tools.
- Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
