ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Purpose:

As a Rare Diseases Business Partner, you will be responsible for driving early patient identification and facilitating access to appropriate diagnostic pathways through strong collaboration with healthcare stakeholders and key opinion leaders. The role focuses on building strategic partnerships, increasing diseases awareness, and supporting referral processes to improve patient outcomes. By combining scientific knowledge with account management expertise, the Business Partner contributes to sustainable territory growth and effective execution of the company’s Rare Diseases strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong engagement with key stakeholders and KOLs to support patient identification and referral pathways.
  • Identify and facilitate referral of highly suspected patients in line with established referral algorithms and selection criteria.
  • Drive appropriate patient access to testing and monitor referral pipeline performance.
  • Execute territory plans to expand awareness and optimize coverage of priority accounts.
  • Manage strategic accounts and develop long-term partnerships with healthcare institutions.
  • Provide scientific and product education to healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support patient journey and treatment access.
  • Analyze territory dynamics and adapt strategies to maximize impact.
  • Demonstrate strong decision-making, accountability, and problem-solving in daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements:

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably in multinational companies, including at least 2 years in Rare Diseases.
  • Proven account management experience is required
  • Strong understanding of Compliance and Medical Governance.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with excellence in execution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and resilience.
  • Proactive, innovative mindset with a passion for customer insight and strategy development.
  • Proven track record of working effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong influencing skills in complex environments to drive performance.
  • Skilled in gathering and translating stakeholder insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong customer orientation with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term relationships.
