Job Summary
The Ramp Manager is responsible for engaging with hotels during the pre-opening ramp timeframe, ensuring activation of commercial levers to drive faster, better ramp performance from the start. This role oversees the ramp process for new construction and conversion openings, executing a comprehensive pre-opening playbook, monitoring progress, and ensuring a seamless transition to the Franchise Performance team post-opening. The position serves as a point of contact for Area Directors and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to achieve ramp KPIs.
Primary Responsibilities
Execute pre-opening plans/playbooks, ensuring hotels activate commercial levers aligned with opening timelines.
Partner with hotel stakeholders and internal teams to drive ramp readiness and performance strategies.
Monitor progress and utilize reporting tools to influence engagement and adoption of ramp activities.
Establish post-opening performance expectations and collaborate with commercial teams to support ramp targets.
Ensure timely and seamless handoff to Area Directors post-opening.
Provide ramp-specific support to Area Directors across broader portfolios.
Qualifications
6–8 years of relevant experience, including major hotel company experience, with demonstrated involvement in sales, revenue management, and/or marketing functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business Management, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Proven success in hotel pre-opening/ramping activities and achieving financial and operational outcomes.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills across stakeholder groups.
Ability to travel up to 30%.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $85,294 – $100,200 annually.

Field/Remote — Select roles designated as field/remote will require associates to work from a home office, connecting virtually with Choice team members and leadership on Zoom, with possible required travel depending on the role.
