Description

Your Role:  

Reporting to the NGA RAM & Obsolescence Manager, the RAM Reliability Engineer’s primary role is to develop regular RAM reports, maintenance program task effectiveness/optimisation reports, conduct data analysis, carry out investigations on systems/components and open actions to support the relevant RAM program. You will also have accountability for: 

  • Develop, optimise and maintain RAM tools and databases for analysis and investigation in support of the RAM program. 

  • Collect and analyse large data sets using programming language such as Python, R and SQL 

  • Develop RAM reports and engineering reports to support maintenance program task effectiveness/optimisation activities and presentations to support various RAM forums and the Enterprise stakeholders. 

  • Perform data analysis in support of obsolescence reporting, value for money assessments for Engineering Change Proposals and Capability Development business cases within the Enterprise 
     

About You:  

  • The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1 

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree specialising in the Aeronautical or Mechanical stream 

  • Ideally Basic programming and coding skills. Python/Machine Learning experience is desirable 

  • Experience working with databases such as SQL or MS Access 

  • Proficiency with the MS Suite
