Your Role:
Reporting to the NGA RAM & Obsolescence Manager, the RAM Reliability Engineer’s primary role is to develop regular RAM reports, maintenance program task effectiveness/optimisation reports, conduct data analysis, carry out investigations on systems/components and open actions to support the relevant RAM program. You will also have accountability for:
Develop, optimise and maintain RAM tools and databases for analysis and investigation in support of the RAM program.
Collect and analyse large data sets using programming language such as Python, R and SQL
Develop RAM reports and engineering reports to support maintenance program task effectiveness/optimisation activities and presentations to support various RAM forums and the Enterprise stakeholders.
Perform data analysis in support of obsolescence reporting, value for money assessments for Engineering Change Proposals and Capability Development business cases within the Enterprise
About You:
The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1
Bachelor of Engineering degree specialising in the Aeronautical or Mechanical stream
Ideally Basic programming and coding skills. Python/Machine Learning experience is desirable
Experience working with databases such as SQL or MS Access
Proficiency with the MS Suite
