The ChristianaCare Newark Campus Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full Time (80 hr) Radiologic Technologist, rotating day/midnight shifts. This position will work every 6th weekend and every third holiday.
Shift:
M-F (8a-6:30p - 4/10 hour) and midnight call (11p-7a - average 1 per week).
Weekend Call (Every 6th Weekend) and (1-2 holidays per year as a 24hrs call shift)
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
Developing and identifying radiographs
Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties
Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Portables, Fluoro
Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems
Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm
Burn patient CD’s
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
3 years’ experience as a staff technologist.
Completion of two-year program in Radiology Technology is required.
An Associate’s degree is required; candidates are required to obtain their Associates of Science degree (can be substituted within a related field), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement
required to be signed as a condition of employment.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
ARRT registered
Delaware State License
Certification in CPR
